I'm from a small town in Northern California called Nevada City. I grew up in the restaurant business, working in my family’s fine dining establishment since I could practically walk. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in journalism and an emphasis in advertising and a minor in English writing. For the past two years, I maintained the Reserve wine bar at the Grand Sierra Resort where I wore many hats, including social media marketing and event coordination. I am a pinned sommelier and loved that I constantly learned and about wine and got to share this with guests.
I am a writer, a wine and food enthusiast and a hard worker looking to start my career. I have always found the advertising industry interesting and I focus on the copy writing and creative aspect of designing campaigns. I am also interested in a variety of writing styles, especially fiction and feature writing. I believe that in order to write well and to live completely, you need to write often and learn constantly.
